a bit hard to believe
Since I eaton swapped I noticed my fuel mileage really hasn't gone down which I thought was a bit unusual. Adding 135rwhp should do that, right?
I topped off the tank and ran it out until the fuel light came back on and then topped it off again at the same gas pump. It went 220 miles all city on just 12.66 gal. That's a city avg of 17.3 which is higher than my window sticker says (17 city, 26 hwy). I boosted ever so slightly many times during the tank, but no wot/full boost. I think I could get 18+ if I was actually trying.

It really shouldn't change just because you added a blower. She you're not in boost its am NA engine. It's when you keep getting into boost that the mpg drops. And generally it'll do a little better with an aftermarket tine because it's dialed in a little better. Just my experience at least.
Back when I had my 01 I decided to see what kind of mpg I'd get staying out of boost. I got the exact same as when I drove it like normal. Well, normal for me. You don't have to run it down to the light coming on. Just fill it up and divide the gallons by the mileage on the trip odometer.

Re: a bit hard to believe
I'm lucky if I get 16 city. But I have a heavy foot, and my boost a pump is usually working hard.

lol I wish it saved me money.

I ran the whole tank out because more miles will give a better average number. you have a bigger blower (although twin screw is more efficient) and auto trans too. I'd say you're right on par with me all things considered. These cars really are great.

Re: a bit hard to believe
Blower = engine more efficient...
I like it... actually when i put a vortech on my old fox, saw the same thing...until i got into boost...then it was a race between the tach and the gas gauge...

Re: a bit hard to believe
that is great that you are getting some good MPG,
I was very happy about getting a diesel truck, because of adding to the MPG to one, but with all the emissions crap they put on the diesel now, its hard to get any good MPG, unless you delete the emissions stuff. The price to delete the emissions stuff is about $3500. They started on the Ford diesels with the 2008 Powerstroke, which mine is a 2009. Congrates ASh

Re: a bit hard to believe
You should also factor in that if you did not have a custom tune before the SC that now you are likely running a more efficient timing and A/F ratio.

Re: a bit hard to believe
Can't speak for him (and I wasn't asked but I think I can chime in a little on this) but on my ECSB 2006 Duramax I remember hitting 20mpg with regularity on my commute. Mostly highway for about 30 miles a day. Straight pipe and a tuner, stock sized tires. After yanking the emissions business on my prior 2009 CCLB, did around 19mpg. Not fantastic, but for a vehicle that size, I didn't feel it was terrible.

Re: a bit hard to believe
That's awesome. With a manual you'd definitely be over 17. Maybe even over 18.

I miss the manual, mostly down the mountain canyons even somewhat on the way up. But I definitely appreciate the dragstrip bonus plus the no third pedal in L.A. traffic. As far as MPG, its smiles per gallon all the way!

Re: a bit hard to believe
On a recent 250 mile trip part freeway, part curvy 2 lane hiway with mountains, tight curves down to 25mph....then a straight stretch at 65 my wife & I got 48.7 going to the coast & 47.9 coming back. We hit a high of 80mph once or twice and full throttle getting into traffic a few times. Pretty happy with the trip mileage!
In town all stop & go driving it drops down to 35/36 MPG....pretty happy with this ....really short drives in town I can see 26mpg though. Oh wait this was on the 2014 Mazda 3!!! I'm sorry!

Re: a bit hard to believe
15.4 on my last tank, even had some freeway time. I was cruising down the freeway in Tijuana in the fast lane when my right ear hard the obvious sound of an after market twin screw. Two lanes to my right was a 15 up s550 Saleen rowing the gears hard. I joined in and passed him, and we went back an forth for like 5 miles. Was a blast, killed my mpg. But the smiles per gallon were worth it!
