Cooling Fan Tests?
Have finally traced some driveability issues to the fact that my cooling fan was completely dead.
Pulling it showed that one of the crimps on the main 3 pin connector had failed, so no fan operation on that circuit. While testing the repair I found that the resistor in the shroud had also failed open circuit. Fixed that with a spare I had. Tested the fan assembly on the bench so I know that both the low and high speed circuits are now good. Is there any way of now testing that the whole system is now OK? I know that if I turn the ac on while stationary the fan runs, but is this low or high speed? High or low, is there a way of forcing the "other speed" to switch on? Or am I overthinking this? Kevin

Re: Cooling Fan Tests?
Ac forces high speed
Stock settings the low speed should come on around 208
