Electric glitches??

My 04 is starting to develop a few electrical issues??
1) 12v plug no longer works
2) Windshield wiper will sweep on its own from time time. Sometimes 1 sweep, other 2 or more.
3) Cruise control & horn not working at all.

Not sure what the fix is for 1&2
#3 I figure is a bad click spring

Any suggestions for 1&2...or 3 if I'm wrong

Re: Electric glitches??

The 12 volt powerpoint is usually just a fuse or the socket itself develops some play in it and would need replacing. Phantom wipers have a been an issue on Ford's for years and it was always the multifunction switch.

Re: Electric glitches??

I have the same issue with the windshield wipers sweeping on their own occasionally. Seems to always be on a downhill, braking with the right turn signal on...go figure..
