New problem popped up.. - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

When taking off at moderate speed from a stop, the car seems to jerk at points (not during a shift) like the transmission is slipping (no indication from the Tach) and I can see the shaker really shaking hard at that moment. I can't hear any engine noises like a miss.. When I take off with the overdrive off, I don't feel those jerks or slipping feeling.

What sets it apart from it being a transmission issue is there is no revving of the engine when it does that jerk and the engine really shakes...

Ideas?

Well I'm not sure if it's the same problem, but when my car was misfiring, it did the exact same thing. It hestated or jerked at certain RPMs, not always the same RPMs each time though. Ended up being a misfire, had to replace all my spark plugs and 1 COP.

Hmm, had the spark plugs changed in July but that is a possibility. Thanks for the suggestion
