I think the color schemes that see the lighter colors with the black trim and roof (like the CO specimen we keep seeing) are going to look quite killer. The ones with the white and red trim color schemes are a little much. That being said, I wouldn't let it stop me if I could find a way to afford one. It's nothing a little paint and peel couldn't fix. I'd probably go for Performance White with black trim anyways...so I'm good.

Frank got the 55k from a dealer. They are probably full of caca and don't know what the MSRP of the Boss is. If it was 5-6k over the price of your 11 GT would you buy it?

No one knows for sure what the MSRP of the Boss will be. Right now it is all speculation.

but i would have to get the red and black its the only
combo that looks good with that stupid paint sceem
on the roof the hood is "ok" i do like the side stripes.

Ford would be stupid to produce only a handful of these cars and price them at or above Shelby levels. That's totally counter to the whole point of the car, which is to be a middle child between the GT and GT500. Honestly, I'm hoping they don't make this too limited a production run.........I'd like to be able to afford one. The less they produce, the more likely the price is to be well into the 40-50K range. If they do MSRP the standard Boss at around 36-37K, that will be awesome. And they COULD do it, they just have to produce enough of them.

I'm kinda hoping that Ford's announcement that the GT500 will become a more limited production run means that they're making room to produce a higher number of Boss cars. Keeping my fingers crossed.

As I said John, Ford never offered these tacky color schemes on the BOSS 302 back in 69-70. The race teams sometimes painted their cars like the pic posted here previously of the Shelby race car. Those were race cars on race tracks. It kind of reminds me of the "NASCAR" models offered by the bow tie people. It's to over the top for me. IF I was able to buy one and IF I wanted one it would be either Black with black or White with black. I won't have to worry about it though. Spending 50K on another Mustang just isn't going to happen.

Traded the Mach1 in to get it.

It was the only way to do it, and the wife was allowing the deal as long as the $$ numbers worked out. But yea the Mach1 is gone. Really enjoy the Shelby... WOW what a car. I picked a good color!!

Still plan on hanging out with everyone. It was a tough choice to make I tried keeping both cars but it just didn't make sense really so I had to give one up to get the other. Figured I'd do it when I can in another 7 years I'll be making college payments and be poor I guess, but hopefully enough in my pocket to fill the tank on this car. The stick shift is a fun thing to have after driving an automatic for the last 7 years. I hope who ever buys it enjoys it as much as I have.

Congratulations Scott, cool car. I've got a buddy with a 2010 that looks identical to yours.

Remember, the Mach's brought got us together but the friendships formed kept us together. Chris got rid of his Mach several years ago but still stays and hangs with us. Hopefully you will too. Look forward to see it and the family at Carlisle next year.
