Is it just me or does the close up on the grabber green car at the bottom of the page has the lip of the wheel painted to match the car? If so that'll be freakin' sweet on the blue and red.....

I think the green is just a reflection of the color off the TV screen captures. The green did look cool on the show though!

Re: 2012 Boss 302 - POST all info here.

Sat in a boss this weekend.... local dealer selling for sticker. Seriously considered showing up at my house with a new car but decided not to make an emotional buy. (I think my wife would have killed me)

anyway, that was an awesome car, better in person. This is the first mustang since I bought the Mach new that I would consider trading the mach in on...

still crunching numbers as I need to buy my wife a better MPG car first. Wonder what kind of deal Ford would make on two cars. lol

same here, i've already decided that if the 2013's come with a shaker option i'm trading the mach in. I hate saying that but the boss is freakin nasty

This is a link to the shots I'd mentioned. No word on a shaker, but you'll get a better handle on the paint and striping for the 2013.

Looks just like my buddies. What number is that one? My buddy's is #29. Don't you just hate S0B's like that? I mean all I got is one GT-500 and an old Mach 1.

Re: 2012 Boss 302 - POST all info here.

Here's a link to this past weekends Boss Reunion. Donald's book officially went on sale there, and I hope to see mine soon. Larry Shinodas personal Cobra Jet was displayed there for the first time in years. This was the car he used for the styling prototype for the Boss 302.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/bossmus...7627255149711/

Also, spoke to local dealer and asked when he was getting his Bosses, and he told me their first one was destroyed in an accident involving the transport truck. Between that, the train derailment, and the ones showing up already totaled, these are going to be really rare cars!

I got Donald's new Boss 302 book in the mail today. I started reading it and had to force myself to put it down till later. It's amazing all the info both on the old and new Boss 302's. For instance I never knew that the S197 Bullitt Mustang in '08 was going to be the new "Boss" feature Mustang but the performance fell short and the new "5.0" wasn't ready.

Re: 2012 Boss 302 - POST all info here.

I guess i'll need to send Donald an email and see where my signed copy is! Very interesting info on the Bullitt/Boss connection. I'm sure, knowing Donald and John Clor, that there will be lots of interesting info like that.

I got mine this weekend, and it is an interesting read. I skimmed over the late model information, and was shocked that not only was the '08/09 Bullitt considered for the Boss name, but so was our Mach 1s!!! As you said, the engine size wasn't right and the package was just not ready for the Boss name. I'll have to get some input from Scott on this one. It was good to see Wolfgang get his name in the acknowledgements.

John

Don't know if you folks have seen this video out of the U.K., but this 2012 Boss 302 just kicks the ever loving shiite out of the bumblebee Camaro SS! Oh, and the hostess is a lot hotter than Jeremy Clarkson could ever be! LOL!

Link to info on the 2013 Boss 302. Interesting that it doesn't show (sadly) a shaker, but it does indicate fog lamps. The '70 style striping is there, as is three new colors; Grabber Blue (previously available on non-Bosses), Gotta Have It Green (Grabber?) and School Bus Yellow (I'm pretty certain that Yellow Blaze is discontinued due to the Japan quake).
No details on the LS colors or package.

Couldn't open your link (now work in Area 51 and the computers in hanger 18 don't allow access ) but this shows the '70 style stripes:

Would have been cool to have it (in keeping with the '70), but I was thinking they wouldn't do it because it would have required major modification of the Boss intake plenum to support it.

Or maybe it's because they're saving it for the new Mach...
