That's the way it's been in my area in the past, so I would expect to see a steep dealer markup.

I have a good friend who just placed his order yesterday with the local Ford dealer. They are alloted two and he placed an order for a white with black graphics. Now he's got to sell his '95 Cobra R by June. That's when they're expecting the Boss to come in.

He uses at track days and has some suspension and motor upgrades. It's super clean (...retired Marine Officer that still believes in spit and polish...) and always does well at MCA type judged shows.

The '12 Boss will replace it as his fun/track car and daily driver. He also has a '10 Shelby GT-500 in Grabber Blue/white that sits in an air bubble except for a couple of times a month when he blows out the carbon (LOL). It's putting out about 625 hp and I guess "breathing" that dehumitified air causes it to "carbon" up (haha).

Agreed. White looks very good. I saw the Speed Channel special and the Boss that looked the worst to me was the red with the white accents. Looked like a red Mustang with the protective white plastic still on the hood and roof.

There's pretty goodinfo on Fords page, but a lot has been wrtitten about it in the magazines.
Same HP (441) as the 'regular' Boss 302.
The red key is available on either Boss 302, no more peak HP but a different power band and rougher idle. The red key is considered a racing program. The silver key is a standard program. The red key upgrade is a post title install by the dealer (at extra cost, of course).
Colors: black or silver with red trim only.
No rear seat, but with an added x-brace where the rear seat was.
I beleive the Recaros are standard, as well as the Torsen differential.

As to production #s, look for 3,500 regular cars and 500 LSs per year for two years. Dave and Tony know where these numbers came from, so believe the source. We don't want to get anyone fired.

some of the first qrt. are starting to come now,they say they are making more in the first qrt. to catch up on the late start.only 12 LS,s are aloted for canada,so car will be rare,but i plan to drive the car, no good to have unless you plan on enjoying,then again both machs we have still have less than 20k on them.winter and salt on roads car stay in there nests. lol
