K&N FPIK fitment with Steeda brace?

Just like the title says. How will this intake fit with a Steeda two-point strut tower brace? Can I make it fit? I ask because I just ordered the brace and wanted to get a new intake system as well.

if you have a propane torch( a good heat gun might work) and a 1" piece of pipe(or large socket)
mark with a grease pencil(or other marker) the position where the STB crosses the inlet tube
carefully heat the inlet tube (the flame doesn't have to be on the plastic)
while the plastic is still hot take and press pipe(socket) into the inlet tube
this may take several trys, take your time, don't burn the plastic, or your hands

this method is credited to another member on the registry, but i can't remember his name
there you go

That works. I went a different route cutting some of the tubing. Search for my name and K&N it'll come up exactly what you need to do.

Cool Re: K&N FPIK fitment with Steeda brace?

I have a K&N intake and was not aware that it wouldnt fit. I bought the brace and tried to modify it to work but it just was'nt worth modifing the intake and putting holes in my car for. Thats just my opinion....however i have seen pics and it looks great on the car! Just not for me.
