Weld Racing Prostar Wheel Backspacing

Hey guys. I am looking to find what Weld Racing Prostar wheel will fit perfect on the back with a 15x8 or 15x10 rim without modification to the brakes. (backspacing) I want to run a 28" slick on this rim. Have H&R supersports on the car now but putting the stock rear springs back in for racing. What else is needed to run skinnies on the front and what backspacing? I heard most people just use a 5/8 inch spacer with the 15/4 rim. Please let me know what you run and what modifications you had to do if you have other drag wheel suggestions. I want the tallest wall as possible to hook with the power I am putting down. Thanks!

Re: Weld Racing Prostar Wheel Backspacing

I have 15x10 prostars with 6.5 bs & 15x3.5 with 1.75 bs with a gt brake conversion & i still needed a 7/16 billet spacer on the front. Also 3" studs all the way around.

Re: Weld Racing Prostar Wheel Backspacing

I run billet specialities street lites 15x10 and 6.5" bs with stock mach brakes. I used stifflers low profile rear brake lines and grinded the tops of the calipers and it fits fine.
