Stupid Theft light - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

So the other day out of the blue the old theft light starts blinking…
Started searching
PATS of course
Car starts and runs just fine
Light went off after I cleaned the negative post on the battery and put the trickle charger to it.
Wondering…battery??? Both my keys start the car
Light is not on when driving etc…

Will monitor it but any thoughts or suggestions are always welcome…

mine randomly did that other day, I had forgotten to put it on the battery tender so Im assuming it was just a little weak. It was fine once I fired it up and drove it a bit
