Re: low mile machs
03 -- purchased October 2007 with 2,400 miles on her. As of today, I have 4,800. That number will definately go up this summer! I'm torn...would love to keep the miles low, but these cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed.

Re: low mile machs
Purchased mine new in the summer of 03 and now she sits with around 15K. Too bad I have no garage and she sees all types of weather. I try to take her out at least twice a week, that’s still not often enough for me but in reality 2,500 a year isn’t bad considering I only but about 5K a year on my DD. I still can’t believe I’ve had the car for 6 years reminds me though, I have to take my plugs out and give em a nice coat of anti-seize before electrolysis takes my threads away when I go to remove em.

Re: low mile machs
Bought mine with around 25,800 as of today it has 27,150 miles. But I finally got my car cover ordered, so that will be the new "fake" garage and although I bought it for a DD I think Im gonna park it and start riding my bike to work or drive my truck haha. I love driving it but I dont want the miles on it!!

Re: low mile machs
I bought mine a few weeks ago with 16200 on it. it has just over 18000 now. of course i had to drive it about 800 miles just to get it home. bought it for a daily driver, so it will not be a low mileage car. but thats ok, these motors are good and the cars were ment to be driven. its just to much fun to push on the GO pedal

Re: low mile machs
Just over 12,000. Too fun to drive to leave it parked. I usually need a truck for work tho, that helps keep the miles off the Mach.

2003 with 4300 never been in the rain and washed two times. Under the car is as clean as the top. Stays in the garage under a cover. I am in it for the long haul.

Re: low mile machs
Zinc yellow 5 speed 03 Mach 1 with just under 9,000 miles right now (just a little over 8,000 when I bought it about 5 weeks ago).
Looks like new, drives like new, and even has a bit of new car smell. This car was babied and never was even out in the rain. Like getting a car out of a 2003 time capsule.

Re: low mile machs
Congrats. I bet it drives nice out on the highway.
We were out there in NY last month for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. I drove 1100 miles all over the state in the rental car, lol. Mine has 12,000 now. It's pretty much retired from track testing. It drives so nice on the road that I don't want to beat it up or make it more raucous than the current configuration. Gettin' old I guess.

Re: low mile machs
I sure am glad that so many original Mach 1 owners decided to absolutely baby and rarely drive their Machs. It is amazing how many recent owners of used Mach 1s here have lucked out with very low mileage cars.
