ABS not working, need suggestions.

I recently bought an 03 Mach 1 to autocross. I went to my first event in it and realized my ABS is not working. It's not working but the abs light on the dash isn't lit up. There is no shudder from the brake pedal or sound to indicate that it is trying to work. I'm going to pull the cluster out today and make sure the bulb is still there. It doesn't light up when I turn the key on to start it either, should it be? I drove a couple of Mach's before I bought this one that had a bad ABS module and they had the ABS and TC light constantly lit up, mine doesn't. I've cleaned the sensors at the wheels and checked all the fuses and connections to module. Will a code scanner be able to tell me anything if the dash lights aren't on? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Sounds like a missing bulb & ABS delete manifold...

If you have the ABS delete and want the ABS back, I am willing to make a swap. I no longer have mine enabled (no reluctor rings) and would be willing to swap my ABS module for the ABS delete manifold. Also, if you do have the module, make sure the sensors and reluctor rings are clean.

Re: ABS not working, need suggestions.

Bulb was good. Unplugged the harness from the ABS module and removed the suspicious looking duct tape. There were two wires pulled out of the harness. I guess from where it was replaced a while back. They put some aftermarket pin connectors on them that had a waterproof boot on the back that was preventing them from being pushed in far enough to make contact. Cut the boot off and pushed them in until they were actually seated and now I have ABS and traction control, all lights working like they should.
