Re: The Wheel Pictures Thread

Just plasti-dipped my rims to see if I like the matte black look before I pay to get them powder coated. Front wheels are stock, Rear wheels are AFS DD 17x10.5.

I powdercoated my stockers. The finish wasn't that great, nor was the durability.

I'd recommend getting them professionally painted instead. Base coat, clear coat. Price should be about the same with either method.

Did you hear that?

Your car is screaming, "Give me springs!".

Wheels are nice.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know. Eibach kit is happening in the next month. I'm thinking of going with the pro kit just because the roads around here are crap.

Re: The Wheel Pictures Thread

Black FR500's, 275/17 in the front, 315/17 in the rear. Not lowered due to my driveway being a mountain. Horrible pictures too, taken at night and with a dirty car... Picture of both tires in off the car is the difference between my old 245's in the rear and the new meat.

Dam those are nice rims. They look huge next to the stockers laying on the floor. On the car they look good.
+1 on the Prokit. That's what I'm running up here and rides and handles great. They look low enough without smashing the bottom of your car all to heck.

LOL i needed a laugh, but so true, you can have some of the badest rims on your mustang, but if that stance doesn't meet it and get drop alittle or down where it looks good, than the rims are useless
