Re: pizza the next morning..
Yeah, but because I'm a fat ***, I inhale a cold slice while a couple more are heating up in the oven. I just throw them right on the oven rack with it at 450 for a few minutes. The crust gets nice and crispy again that way. Hate to microwave it. Turns into a mushy mess. I've got four sons living with me, pizza never gets thrown out here. Jim

Re: pizza the next morning..
I put it in the microwave for 20 seconds. It makes the pizza barely warm to the point where the cheese doesn't taste like glue.

I think you can substitute ice cold beer in there too. Just not in the microwave!

Straight from the fridge cold, microwaved or toaster oven re heated. All work for me, just can't let it sit for more then 2 days.

Re: pizza the next morning..
Dated this girl in high school and college. Her mom would make pizza from scratch. Any leftovers would go in their breadbox. Many a morning I'd go by to pick her up since we were going somewhere for the day .... her dad would pull a slice out of the breadbox and offer it to me .... half day old, room temperature. I would take him up on it once in awhile ... wasn't bad.

Cold is fine with me. If hungover I honestly don't care how long it's been sitting out... Food is good for a single man. Lol

Her old man was a great guy ... "Alphonse". I think he's about 93 now. Mom was a great lady too ... we still exchange Christmas cards.

Re: pizza the next morning..
LOL. I just went to Frank Pepe Pizzeria (the original on Wooster Street in New Haven, CT) for a late lunch. THE best pizza! So I ordered a medium so that I could take some home. In part so that tomorrow morning I can pull a couple of pieces out of the fridge and eat it cold. The rest I'll heat up for lunch. Oh yeah!!!
Simply delicious hot or cold!

Re: pizza the next morning..
I'm surprised that none of the pizza chains has done this. Take pizza at the end of the day and put it in the cooler to sell in the morning for breakfast. Kinda like day old bread.
