I'm thinking of putting some 4.6 hi-po emblems on mine as well, but I don't know why. I guess I'm just thinking that it looks better than the tri-bar pony. I'm diehard Mustang fan, but the Mach1 is so much fun it need it's own flair. Cobra gets the snake badge, the Mach 1 deserves something. I think the red 4.6 would look cool on the zinc yellow. So where is the best place to get the 4.6 emblems? Any recommendations?

Stangparts.com is where I got mine $20 for the set. I am almost sure that the red ones are sold out though from what other members have said. They are going fast!! Everyone seems to want them for their Mach 1 since GOTdaBLUE1 posted his pics(I think he was the first one to put them on his car)!! They definately give the Mach 1 a more unique look. They look so much like they belong on the car its scary!!

Do they make the "4.6" in Black??? If not, then they should...........think about how well it'll contrast with the stripes, shaker, etc.

Put me on the list for some Matt black 4.6 emblems, they would look good on any of the Machs colors.

Black 4.6 emblems

Why couldn't you paint them yourself? Just clean the raised edges off with paint thinner or laquer thinner once the paint dries.

Oh, what the hell! I just called and ordered a set for myself. I'll paint them black.

I'll second that, how hard can it be and for $20 why not?

Ill second the suggestion to make them in black. Red or blue
just wont look right on torch red. Black would be ideal.

Very easy to remove ponys, use a hair dryer & a hard plastic spatula.

Someone else just used fishing line. Probably monofilament line.

I figured on either some fishing line or some strong dental floss..........even some thin weed trimmer line..........any of those should work fine.

I think I'm gonna order them in blue, since they're in stock, and then just paint 'em black. I hope I don't mess them up.
