The end of my 2004 Mach

http://youtu.be/GPklQTpG3CM
http://youtu.be/kUNewdpkAi8

Let a buddy drive it. He lost control and we slammed into a tree.

So sad. We both walked away with minor injuries.

Ya know what? Cars can be replaced. Buddies cant! If he is one of your true life long friends dont be upset with him. I say this after losing my life long friend 3 weeks ago, to a motorcycle accident. So be glad you are both OK.

If he was driving crazy and you told him not to, yes I would be pissed. But if you told him to 'get on it' or 'hit it', then its just as much your fault as his. I use to drive a buddies car some but I always drove like I had some sense.

Sorry for the loss of the car but they can be replaced.

^This. I mean, it's kinda hard to believe that out of nowhere you just lose control and hit a tree. Please don't buy another Mach.

Obviously you did'nt read Shadowmaker's comment. Would make me question his judgement. You never hear the whole story. Just select pieces.

Re: The end of my 2004 Mach

Sucks to see but glad you are ok.

That said, may I suggest the following:
1. Retain salvage and keep the car
2. Get insurance check
3. Call Factory Five Racing in Mass and order Mk 4 roadster kit
4. Build a 65 Cobra replica using the Mach 1 as a donor!!

If my Mach ever gets wrecked I will be doing this. I built one FFR roadster already using a 90 5.0 as the donor. Would love to build another one using a Mach.
