Come on John, don't be mad at KY! It's probably the first respectible football team we've had in 20 years. It wasn't like it was a blowout-both teams played their hearts out, and that makes for good college football!

Yea, I agree. When I watch LSU games all I hear is the announcers talking about how great he is and how he is going to be a heisman winner once he leaves but when they put him in the game all he does is hand off the ball

Re: College Football back in full swing!

Looks like it might be another wild week in football. Iowa state is beating the "mighty" sooners. Vandy is beating #6 south carolina and last I checked, baylor is beating texas. HEck, VT might get back in the championship picture if nobody else wants it.

Re: College Football back in full swing!

LSU's coach has balls of steel. Down by one. 3rd and 8, in field goal range and you throw to the endzone, touchdown with 1-2 seconds left. WOW!

Great game LSU! The Gators proved again they are never out of any game against any team out there.

Re: College Football back in full swing!

Whatta night!?! I'm exhausted from watching that game, good thing it isn't 59 1/2 minutes in a game! The Ky/Fla. game was exactly what I thought it would be, but SC losing to Vandy was a real surprise!
I figured if Miles had lost the Auburn game and then lost to 'Bama, then TAF would be packing for him to go to Michigan, but now all he needs to do it put Saban away to make everyone here happy...at least until the next game...

Brandon, I was on campus (at the Chimes) during the Earthquake game againt Auburn. I wonder how the last minute win last night compared to that one as far as the crowd reaction?

Good try, VT. That was a game played with a lot of heart, but even more rain!

If you enjoy the SEC or college football in general, check this out...

I am from that area and really am over Virginia Tech. Good thing they went to the ACC from the Big East, cause it looks like they might still be able to win the ACC and would'nt win the Big East with BC & WV.

And when I lived up there from 1960's through the late '80's, they were nicknamed the "Chokies"

Re: College Football back in full swing!

Tech got a freebie with the touchdown call. The guy was clearly out of bounds before he had possesion. The whole game I was wondering why Ryan was a Heisman canidate, then I saw the last two mins. and that awnsered my question.

Two gimme me touchdowns at the end of a 56 minute shut out is far from Heisman worthy IMO. Tebow (even with 2 losses) and Woodson (no SEC bias, they're the two best performers) have done much better. VT, no offense to them, really just isn't that good and absolutely gave the game away. Seriously, there was no one on that receiver. At least LSU's wide outs have to make plays to catch game winning TDs. VT did what they do against decent teams, they didn't win. It just pisses me that if BC doesn't lose, they are in and LSU is out. LSU would ... um ... I don't think there is a word for what we would do to BC. I'm anxious to see just how good OSU is this weekend as well. Should be a fun one.
