Off road X pipe with stock tune?

Anyone know if I can run an off road x pipe on the stock tune? Or will I run lean and run into problems?

Thanks!

Re: Off road X pipe with stock tune?

I ran a Off road x pipe on my car for 40k miles on the stock tune and no MIL eliminators.
If anything, it will smell like your running lean.
Car performed great and sounded better with it!

Re: Off road X pipe with stock tune?

Good to hear. My plan was to just run the x with MIL eliminators on the stock tune. Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Off road X pipe with stock tune?

You can run it stock, but why not tune it to get your money's worth out of the mid pipe? Mine runs like garbage on the stock tune with an o/r h pipe.

I would say maybe if you get a budget for the tuner than get it.
yes you can run it, but get the MILs IMO
