18" AFS Replicas *Pics Added*

Hey fruit cakes,

So the other day I ordered four 275-35-18 Nitto Invos to go on my AFS 18X9 replicas. Decided against a staggered set since I won't be putting a lot of power down any time soon. I was really wanting some Michelin Pilot Sports or Toyo R888s but they were able to give me a much better discount on the Nittos. They should be here tomorrow or Saturday at the latest. I just couldn't contain the excitement, though, so I posted now. Pics will be added as soon as they go on.

On a side note, anyone know what length our studs are? I'd like to do all 10 rears, but maybe a 1/4"-1/2" longer should I decide to run small spacers for the rear. Stay tuned.

Well, I'll be able to to get quite a bit more mileage out of these since I can rotate them. But I do agree somewhat, which is why I'm looking to run spacers once the studs are upgraded

Wow, Im going to be honest here and say that at first I thought this was not a good choice and im sure its because I havent seen enough pics of this wheel.

But now seeing them on your car, they look amazing. The wheel size and ride height of your car looks fantastic. Great job man!

Haha thanks! Believe it or not I wasn't quite sure how it would turn out as I've only seen a few with this setup but luckily it turned out great.

No sir. But I will throw a pair of small ones on the rear as soon as I get new studs and have the fenders rolled.

Too big, otherwise I'd take em off your hands! I had 1.5" spacers with the stock wheels, but the tires rubbed terribly. These are an inch wider so I'm looking for maybe a 1/4" or 10mm hubcentric.

Re: 18" AFS Replicas Finally Going On

Great choice, I have had the 18X9 Mac black rims with 275-35-18 tires on since 2006, and love the look and ride.

Re: 18" AFS Replicas Finally Going On

I've got 1" spacers on mine with AFS 18x9 replicas. Fits perfect with no rubbing. Same size tire too.

I take it that one's yours? I have several pictures of it. Glad I'm talking to the person who owns it haha. So 1 inch spacers, huh? I assumed that would be far too much. What is your suspension setup? Are your fenders rolled?

Re: 18" AFS Replicas Finally Going On

It's a 25mm H&R spacer so just a hair under an inch. I don't have any rubbing issues but I also have an IRS in the car so that may help since it doesn't have much side to side movement. You may get some rubbing unless you have a panhard bar or some other method to control movement of the axle. It's close as is.

I don't have my fenders rolled but would probably need it if I went any wider on the tires.
