Mustang restoration east coast

The Medical director at the hospital I work has an older mustang 65-66-67 (Not sure of exact year). He wants to do a daily driver type restoration. New paint, bumpers, convertable top and freshen up the interior. Any suggestions for a good east shop close to VA?

Re: Mustang restoration east coast

Let me know if you find one, the estimates I have gotten on a repaint for my 73 have been extremely high!

Re: Mustang restoration east coast

I wish it were a newer car, as I am more familiar with them, or I would do it.

You are a bit to far away. He is willing to go about 6 hours in any direction. I will be hauling it on my trailer.

Try Pony & Corral, 7315 Livingston Rd., Oxon Hill Md. (301) 839-6666. They are just over the Virginia line in Maryland. Old family owned business that only do early Mustangs. They are National Capital Region Mustang Club members.

Too bad, it would keep me busy.
