Reason for selling, printed dealer confirmation on a 2007 Shelby GT500.

Unlike someone else on this forum, I have no complaints about my Mach 1 and/or my local dealership (Hastings Ford) whom sold me the car new.

OK, so I've had two, what I call, minor issues with the car. The first was a squeaking noise behind the dashboard. It turns out, two AC lines had to be rerouted; covered under warranty. Next, rear end leaking a small amount of grease. Replaced the gasket. Leak came back. So I upgraded to the Ford Racing 8.8" Rear End Girdle and stud kit with the idea of changing to 4:30 gears in the future. Rear end hasn't leaked again.

The oil and filter was changed twice, 500 miles and 3000 miles, with Castrol 5W-20 Syntec Blend. The car was driven under low RPM's during the first 1000 miles. Never raced or run on a drag strip. I'm over that stuff.

Graphic-Express.

The eyebrows are $29.95. I was the guy whom first requested the over the roof and trunk matching stripes. Graphic-Express was nice enough to create them for me. All the non-factory decals on my Mach 1 came from Graphic-Express.

I owe many thanks to the Mach 1 Registry and the fine folks here for allowing me to sell my Mach 1 to a genuine Mustang enthusiast. When you take care of your car and the time comes to part ways, you always hope the next owner will appreciate your car as much as you did. I have solace my Mach 1 has found a very good home.

Sale consummated on June 23rd

I apologize for taking so long to update this classified. Dang, I had a difficult time after the transaction. Oh man, it hit me really hard watching my Mach 1 drive off and hearing the exhaust fade in the distance for the final time.

As many of you already know, the Mach 1 is a very nice car. I had every intention of keeping it.

I put my name on the list to get a 2007 Shelby GT500 thinking I'd be one of those on the list whom wouldn't get a Shelby and if my name was called, the dealer would ask for a mark-up over M.S.R.P. and I would walk away. Well, I found out in April I was #1 on the list and my dealer, Hastings Ford, was asking M.S.R.P. That is what put the sale of the Mach 1 in motion. It simply wasn't feasible to keep the Mach 1 and have a Shelby GT500.

I am truly appreciative to the Mach 1 Registry for allowing me to list my Mach 1 in this classified. Even though I am feeling a deep regret for selling my Mach 1, it means a lot to me my Mach 1 has found a home with a genuine Mustang enthusiast.

I owe everyone here many thanks,

WOW, azure blue isnt really my style but i would have bought that in a heart beat. im possitive the new owner is happy with that purchase. too bad it's not for sale any longer
