Re: Monster Intercooler Installed
Also, it comes with 3 1/2" inlet and outlets and you have to weld your own tabs on it. I have a connection at PC and I was able to talk them into building me one with 3" inlet and outlet so I didn't have to change any of my tubing

Re: Monster Intercooler Installed
Well...I have not data logged anything yet...but from a quick pull on the dyno it appears to make more boost. +2 psi at 7000rpm. The larger intercooler is less restrictive allowing for more air to make it to the manifold. More air in the manifold should = more boost. Less restriction should = less heat as well. That was the goal here, less restriction and more surface area to lower inlet temps. Mine were a mind boggling 180 at the end of the track on a 90 degree day

Re: Monster Intercooler Installed
I wish I had the money lying around to buy your old one. You have a great price on it, and your car was my inspiration from day one.
Beautiful job on the "monster". Procharger is right here in my back yard...so I always like to see people supporting the home team. |

Re: Monster Intercooler Installed
Nice to know. I have a 5" Treadstone I want to install whenever I increase the boost. Good job on the spacers.
