Mac Prochamber Owners Come In

Installed mine a few weeks ago. Initially it leaked like hell on the driver's side so I had to install the reducer that I had to order from Mac. I got mine used and it didn't come with it. I installed it and it took care of most of the leak but it still has a small exhaust tick on the driver's side. Do I need to swap to the Napa studs now too that don't have the steps on them or am I missing something? I never had an issue with my Magnaflow catted x leaking at all that I took off. If this **** prochamber didn't sound so good it would already be swapped back lol.

I'm getting the studs replaced with the Napa studs on Monday. Hopefully it fixes it. I think their build quality is hit or miss.

I had the same problem with my reducer. I ended up sanding the burrs out and slapping on a coat of antiseize to allow it to conform and mate up easier while I used the IMPACT ! No more leakage .

I think mine is as tight as it will get. Those **** shoulders on the stock studs are keeping it from tightening snug. I'm nervous about the shop replacing the studs. I hope they don't break one in the process.

A little update. New studs are in. Leak is gone. Mechanic had to heat the manifold numous times to get the original studs out but they came out without breaking.
