dent in roof
So my hood flew open going 60 and put a dent in the roof right where the windshield meets the roof. I pulled the headliner off to see if I could pop the dent out but there is a support beam in the way. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas? It's not a "perfect dent" it's rippled a little so I didn't know if a suction cup would work or not. Please help

Re: dent in roof
if its ripled/wrinkled the best they could do is minimize its appearance with a paintless dent process. Depending on how bad it might just be time for a new roof panel sadly

Re: dent in roof
Bondo, prime, and blend if you can't pop it.

Re: dent in roof
Sounds like body filler or use the screw hammer and pull out method.

Re: dent in roof
For everything you just listed it sounds like a ok deal. I wish it was cheaper but I have found that body work is very expensive.

Re: dent in roof
Honestly, sounds cheap. If they are a good shop then jump on it.

Re: dent in roof
I've read a lot of reviews and everybody says they are the best around. Guess I will be getting it to them next week. And I might just go ahead and get the whole thing re painted

I hope your piggy bank is full, because that will be considerably more than the $1500 they quoted to repair the hood and roof. |
