Wtb: Shaker spacer

Several years ago, probably more like 8-10 there were two sizes of shaker spacers offered for sale by some folks on here. 3/4" and 1" if I remember correctly. I'm looking to buy one, prefer 1" but would take whatever I can get. Anybody got anything?

Re: Wtb: Shaker spacer

Not trying to hijack the thread, but if someone has an additional one, please let me know. Please either reply to the thread or PM me. I prefer the 3/4" one myself. Obviously, Bad281GT has first dibs, though! Thanks in advance!

Re: Wtb: Shaker spacer

As I recall the normal sizes were 3/8" and 1/2". The PHP one is 3/8". I have one of Roy's spacers that is 1/2". Once you go bigger than 1/2" you start running in to other issues where modifying the shaker bracket or EGR came in to play.

Found this old thread.

Re: Wtb: Shaker spacer

Before you buy one, check your shaker isolators/grommets. Mine were shot and the shaker was sitting a little low, even with the mounting posts raised up. The new ones are firmer than the factory ones were as well, so it doesn't slam down and make noise when you hit big bumps. The bottom of my shaker opening is right level with the hood. Looks perfect to me. The shaker isolator part number is 2L7Z-9P686-AA.

Re: Wtb: Shaker spacer

I believe the poster is looking for the scoop space, not the intake plenum spacer.

Yes! Sorry for any confusion from my end. Thank you for clarifying. If nothing else, I may go to the intake plenum spacer route and replace my grommets to be on the safe side as well.

Re: Wtb: Shaker spacer

I think I was the last one to make these..they came in 1/2, 3/4 and 1". about 20 people bought them so you may find one for sale. they have come up on here before. I am not making them anymore, too much trouble for what I made off of them.

Just an FYI. If I bought mine from you I wanted to let you know I still have it and am still enjoying it. Probably painted it 3 times or more. I have the 1 inch spacer. Some people like it some don't but I still think its cool so that is what matters to me. At Carlisle last year someone wanted to buy it off my car... If you only made 20 that sucks it didn't pan out as a profitable item..

I wish I could find me an old Mach 1 fuel door that the registry use to sell. Black door and brushed aluminum ring...
