Cams and Springs Question - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

Is there a downside of using stiffer springs with stock cams?
My heads came with comps springs but I didn't want to run the 106400 cams with it. Can I run stock exhaust and 98 cobra intake cams with those springs?
