Auto shifter won't come out of park
Hi All
Not on my Mach 1 but I have a friend with a 04 Auto and when you put foot on brake, shifter won't come out of park and he has no brake lights Any one ever run into this or know if switch is mechanical or electronic Or does no brake lights point to anything obvious? Thanks for any help on this

Re: Auto shifter won't come out of park
No brake lights would lead me to the brake light switch on the pedal. I believe there's a solenoid that allows you to pull the shifter from park when the brake is pressed. If it's not getting power the solenoid will never release.

Re: Auto shifter won't come out of park
It's the fuse for the brake lights. 90% sure.
