KS_Yeti's Oxford White 03 Mach 1

After 10 years, I've finally aquired one of my dream cars. I've ALWAYS wanted an 03 oxford white, manual with iup Mach 1. So when this one came available a week ago I had to jump on the car. Traded my 4v swapped, wire tucked, shaved engine bay, fully built front and rear 99 gt plus a couple guns for this car.

The car has 138k on it, the engine has 75k on it. With out realizing it, the engine came out of a friend of mines Mach when he built his up for the twin turbo build.

The current mods on the car as:

Steeds UDP
Bbk off road x
Mac cat back
B&m short shift on a t45 (idk why the t45 was swapped in, but it's getting a t56 this winter)
SVE upper and lower control arms
Lowering springs
Gripper cc plates
Drilled and slotted rotors
Kyb adjustable on all 4 corners
Energy motor and trans mount
3.27 gears
Tinted tails

First mods to go in the car will be:

Jlt ram air intake (as soon as I can find one)
4.30 gears
Mosier 31 spline axles (already have them)
31 spline diff (already have)
Tuner

I've also got a couple sets of 96-98 cobra cams if I decide to install tgem. But I think that will wait until I build the teksid that's in the garage.

Lookin' good! Welcome!

I'm pretty sure I'm going with 4.30's when I upgrade the rear on mine too. Let us know how you like the 4.30's when you are done with your upgrade.

Re: KS_Yeti's Oxford White 03 Mach 1

Thanks for the welcomes!

I just submitted the order for the JLT next gen ram air intake, Tinted head lights, and a new trim piece for the door.

Yesterday I ordered the build cert online.

Tomorrow will probably go ahead and order the gears.

I've still got an extra 8.8 out of one of my parts cars. So i'm planning on gutting it, welding the tubes, painting, and building it. That way all i have to do is swap the complete rear ends. Rather then pulling mine and building it.

I'm doing my 4.10s tomorrow. These cars are great with a built rear end

Re: KS_Yeti's Oxford White 03 Mach 1

I'm currently gear shopping. Fixing to order the FRPP rebuild kit with bearings, FRPP Diff Cover, and the gears. Unfortuneatly FRPP doesnt do 4.30 gears. Curious what brand 4.30's most are running. I know there is a quality difference in the gears.

Also, is there any way to figure out how many oxford white, manual, iup mach's were produced in 2003? I know its easy to figure out the 04 numbers.

I wish Ford had made 4.30s. I'm picking up my car with the newly installed 4.10s pretty excited. The Motive 4.30s seem popular and decently priced. Yukon and some of the other brands seem more uncommon.

For production numbers they made 814 OWs and 724 had the IUP and 586 were M5s so... that's why I like having a non IUP since it's rarer and an auto to top it off lol. Weird how Ford did it.

Awesome! Thanks for the info man, so 586 m5 iup ow 03 machs were made?

My last car had all Yukon parts building the rear but 4.56 frpp gears. I'm really tempted to just go 4.56 but that's going to be too much gear for a nitrous car I fear.

No problem but it's not quite that accurate 724 IUP and 586 M5 so your car has both those factors so I think that throws it off a little. I'm terrible at math so I'm
Not much help there but you're low and in that range.

And yeah 4.56 would be a lot of gear with nos. how big of a shot do you plan on running? I got my car back today with the 4.10s and man does it feel good best mod so far I'd say.

My intentions are to run a 100-125 shot tuned. But that won't be until the end of the summer. First, I need to do a k member swap, long tubes, and the cobra cams swap. That will be done when I get home at the end of June.

My over all goal for the Mach is a 10.9x. I know I won't get there all motor, I'm hoping to get there stock block/heads but with cams, headers, pullies, nitrous.

I gave the Mach a little show, and a little go tonight. Jlt ram air intake as well as axial dark smoked headlights.

My rims are on a six week back order so looks like I'll be playing the waiting game all summer for them.

Nice goal and good luck. I'm hoping now that the 4.10s are done I'll have a solid 12 second car on my hands. Love the lights and the JLT. Here is what I chose

Nice! I ran those same headlights on my 01 for a while. 5.0 stroked, patriot heads, comp cams, long tubes, pullies, etc. It was a fun car! This thing should be quite a bit dinner by the time I'm done.

Good looking car! Jealous of your mod list, I can't get anywhere near that in Kalifornia lol. Smog is a monster. One day I'll be out of this state and can finally have cams and longtubes lol
