Headlights

I'm on my third set of headlights, and I'm looking for a forth set. They don't last, either they leak and fog up or peel. Does anyone know of headlights that will last a decent amount of time.

Re: Headlights

Are you sealing them up? I was reading before and everyone said if you buy aftermarket lights, you need to go around the seam with a bead of RTV to seal them up? I dunno, i believe mine are done and it sits outside Ive had no issues.

Re: Headlights

I've sealed them also, after I buy them, but, I don't think that I should have to modify something after I buy it, just to make it work.

My wife has a Charger, its less than a year old, one of the headlights has a bad case of condensation, these were a $1500 add on. It just pisses me off, that you cant buy decent product now a days.

Just my 2 cents.

I would agree with you, they do last a little longer than the cheaper ones.

Agreed. I bought the smoked ones from American Muscle and sealed them up and havent had any problems yet. On my GT, I bought some the clear corner headlights from American Muscle, didnt seal them, and had water in them within 4 months. I took out the bulbs and cleaned them up, and 2 days later, water in em again.
