Stupid corporate internet!

So at work, An Autonation Chevy Dealer, the internet has lots and lots of filters..

No facebook (probably a good thing!), no photobucket, no youtube, media storage sites, etc...

So anytime anyone posts a youtube link, or photos from photobucket, I need to view on my iphone.

What a PITA!

Thanks Autonation!

Never tried.. Is there software that needs to be installed on my work computer for that?

If so, that'll be a no go!

Re: Stupid corporate internet!

The worst is I can't get onto my fantasy football sites at work. What better time to study matchups than while at work?

Re: Stupid corporate internet!

I used to be able to access this forum at my work. The filters are so bad now, get this, I can't even get to my OWN companies web site from my computer at work.

Nothing needed on work computer if its windows... just click start-run-mstsc and hit enter

You can try this ip address to test 98.223.50.120 (mine) and see if it connects!

Highly doubt the remote desktop port will be open through the firewall. You need to get to know your IT guy for a hookup. There are ways around it.

Re: Stupid corporate internet!

And doing that would set off a big red-flag. Where I work it could be cause for dismissal.

Those are always blocked by the corporate proxy server.
