Procharger install
Hi guys,
started work on my Procharger install over the weekend and hit a bit of a problem! So it said remove the crankcase tubes from the valve covers and retain a reducer attached to the hose for reinstallation on drivers side valve cover - there does not seem to be one? So later it says install the provided PCV hose using the reducers removed ealier - which I don't seem to have. It then says install the hose on the engine breather port on the drivers side valve cover and connect to the provided 5/8" 90 degree hose. The hose seems to go on to that port without any reducer? Anyhow, it gets routed over to the passengers side valve cover. I will then chop the 90 degree tube and in stall the plastic tee? then connect to the breather fitting that side and then use the rest of the tube to connect the tee to the inlet duct? This then leaves me with an open hole on the other side with no instructions on what to do? Any ideas!?

Re: Procharger install
the port on the intake you can get a pack of rubber caps from the auto parts place, use one of those with a hose clamp so it doesnt blow off under boost
its been a long time since i ran it how the instructions say but I wanna say on the pass side valve cover you turn that hose toward the pass side fender and thats where the T goes. I dont think you need that reducer? See if that 90 on the pass side will just slide onto the T, if it does its not needed. Once you have the T relocated the rest of the hose would connect that nipple on the inlet pipe to the T

Re: Procharger install
Arh OK, thanks very much for letting me know!
I did think as much but was not sure and nothing was mentioned in the instructions nor a cap was included in the kit! And when I looked at some images of installs it looked like some people have a pipe still going to that port.

Re: Procharger install
Use a vinyl cap. Rubber vacuum caps from a parts store will crack almost immediately. That's been my experience atleast.

Re: Procharger install
some of us still have a line going to the intake because we basically kept the stock PCV routing. Personally I have a catch can and a one way check valve in that line going to the intake (check valve makes sure the PCV system isnt put under pressure by the blower while in boost).

Re: Procharger install
is that a better way to do it than what Procharger advise?
