Re: WTB,Cats needed for my 04 Mach
Factory h-pipe had 4 cats on it. Not sure if they were cut out and welded in piping, but if you have a no cats, then either previous owner turned off the sensors with a tune or you have O2s in there with plug-in MIL eliminators to turn off the check engine light. If the sensors are turned off you may get away with getting imitation cats welded in which basically look like cats on the outside with a straight pipe on the inside or you can get cats welded in. That would be the cheaper way. If looking for aftermarket theres plenty of options.

I have to test here in washington also, my sensors are turned off with my tuner ,no check light . I have a mac h pipe not cats and borla stingers , and i pass . They used to put you on the rollers here but now they just plug into you obd2 ports and hold you rpms to get there reading .

Re: WTB,Cats needed for my 04 Mach
Wish I could get away with sensors turned and no cats. They roll the car over a floor cam to check for cats. I don't remember if they revved the engine but they do plug it into the diagnostic port.

if down the road you need one I have the hole setup from the front piped to the mid flange connecter. I put a x-pipe on so have the left over pipes and cats
