3650 rattle
Is it normal for these trannys to make noise at light throttle in 2,3-4....like gear clash? Off the gas, or wot no noise, anyone have any similar problems?

Not sure if its normal or not, but my tranny likes to make noises in 5th gear for some reason.

Re: 3650 rattle
Sounds more like the diff. making noise when at light throttle. I have 4.10s in with a short shifter and what can I say but it's a noisy drive train, they did not put a lot into noise dampening on this Mustang at the factory.

Re: 3650 rattle
I know rear diff noise, i have that also. I can live with it, but the noise sounds like its right below the shifter, or maye a little farther ahead.

Re: 3650 rattle
I have it also, i have replaced my tranny twice, i have also put a t56 in my car. i am back on another 3650 now and i have a rattle noise when its cold in netural and crusing in 5th i have a noise. It sounds like a fork missing the little plastic thing and just a rattle, tranny shifts fine, drives fine just noisey. if you put your hand on the shifter and push up or down while in gear it goes away. i also took my pro 5.0 shifter out of my car due to it amplifing the nosie.
