Stock crank pullley size?
Hi guys
Ive been told by the previous owner of my car that it had some underdriven pulley on it but did not really ask details about it. Since then i read about it and it seem that the march 1158-08 crank pulley could be a good performance/prize upgrade. I need to have an idea what i got under my hood before doing anything Im not sure if my pulley ares really underdrivens or not, and my knowledge of mechanics in general is bad and the crank pulley (and also others) has nothing written that still visible on it. Does someone know or know a thread here were stock pulleys diameter are documented? It would be easy to measure and have an idea if im stock or no. Probably it has been discussed before but i did some searchs and i havent succeed in finding answers .

Re: Stock crank pullley size?
Ive seen stock crank pulley posted as 6.625 and 6.75"
http://www.mach1registry.org/forums/...ad.php?t=59715 personally I would not waste money on an underdrive crank pulley. If you have concerns about the current crank pulley then I would get a stock sized replacement

Re: Stock crank pullley size?
Ok thanks for the infos DSG2003Mach1,
Im not looking for stock replacments just thinking of maybe an upgrade eventually im completely noob about theses, tought the crank pulley was the one in the middle in the lower section, but it does have about 5" the one higher that we can see on the picture with a tube hiding a part of it as more like 6 1/2" so i guess it is the crank pulley ? Heres a pictures (bad) of the engine maybe it would help to know if it look like all stock pulley = https://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/865453poulieo.jpg https://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/272863poulie2.jpg

Re: Stock crank pullley size?
crank pulley is the lowest one in the center of the motor. From top of the motor down you basically have the alternator, water pump and then crank in a row. The pulley off to the driver side with a line behind it is power steering.

Re: Stock crank pullley size?
So with a 5" diameter it would mean mine has been changed. i wont need to toutch that
If i compared to that setup http://mach1registry.org/forums/showthread.php?t=130220 on eyemeter seems like my water pump one with 6 1/2" its bigger My water pump and crank one might be non-stock then
