Think I lost my tranny???
At the track tonight hard shifted into 4th at the end of the track and nothing. No grinding no loud bangs nothing. The car rolls like it is neutral in any gear. I just put a new clutch in it I checked the cable and the clutch engaging and disengaging smooth. I'm thinking its my input shaft maybe? Anyone have the same issue with them?
Best time for the night was 12.1 123mph 2.03 60ft |

Re: Think I lost my tranny???
When I broke my input shaft everything was ok until I let out the clutch. Then "bang clank boom clack clank". You get the idea.

Re: Think I lost my tranny???
I got a feeling its something less extreme. The fact that it goes into every gear and makes no noise.

Quote:
somehow the clutch isnt engaging the flywheel, if it is the splines on the clutch disc are gone so its not turning the input shaft the clutch is engaging and the splines are ok meaning that the input shaft or something else in the trans has broken

Re: Think I lost my tranny???
That is the only reason I am switching to the T-56. Pulling that 3650 is a *****. good luck with that.

Re: Think I lost my tranny???
My 3650 is no different than a T56 when it comes to pulling it.
