Exclamation Technical Service Bullitens (tsb's)

Here are some of the LATEST TSB'S on MUSTANGS in general.

There are some of the problems/Fixes for Mustangs.
SOME are MACH 1/Cobra related

PLEASE DO NOT USE OUT OF CONTEXT. MOST ARE NOT FOR THE BACKYARD MECHANIC. THESE ARE FORD MECHANIC PROCEDURES.
PLEASE, DO NOT TAKE IT TO YOUR DEALER UNLESS YOU HAVE THE PROBLEM....!!!
NOTE:The information in Technical Service Bulletins is intended for use by trained, professional technicians with the knowledge, tools, and equipment to do
the job properly and safely. It informs these technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or provides information that could assist in proper
vehicle service. The procedures should not be performed by "do-it-yourselfers". Do not assume that a condition described affects your car or truck. Contact a
Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury dealership to determine whether the Bulletin applies to your vehicle.

These may help us diagnose some of the current things owner's are experiencing.

Someone posted this 2 days ago, but I have no way of verifying it.

TSB 03-25-5, dated December 11, 2003 - Paint - pin holes and/or paint delamination in vehicle hood - vehicles built 6/1/01 thru 3/1/2003 only.

Whoever posted it gave this URL, but I think I missed a digit or 2 on the end.

http://www.fordtechservice.dealerco...ENI4/T32 (The rest didn't print out when I printed it.

Sorry folks. Perhaps someone has access to this info. Hope it help.

Gotta love this thread. Heard my back end pop twice yesterday, and came here to check the TSB's. Printed it out to take to work with me tomorrow and have it checked out.

Thanks guys

Hey All, In preparation of taking my Mach into the dealer on Wed.... I have been downloading and printing off the various TSB's here so that I'll be armed for the Service Writer I have a problem though, when I tried to print the TSB on the wind noise from the pillar problem, I get these huge circles of black all over the page. Anyone else have this problem with this particular TSB? It's only this TSB as I have successfully printed off the others that were pertinent. Anyone else...solutions? TIA....

Both of the TSBs I need to see have dead links. I need to see the "oil level indication" and the "rough idle".

Thanks.

Zammit from TSB 03-16-4.............

Engine build date is typically found on the engine label located on the valve cover.

Stuck Seat Belt

Anyone know of a TSB for the passenger seat belt getting stuck tight against the passenger and not releasing. This happens to my wife and she has to unlock the belt let it recoil all the way back in and have to play with it to get it lose and pull back out lock it and then a few minutes later it does it again. Has anyone else have this happen.

I've had it happen in all three of the mustangs I have owned, it sucks because she gets ticked off everytime it does it. I have never heard of any possible fixes or recalls, but there may be some out there.

No TSB that I know of. However, the squeak or creak, is a common Mustang problem. Have them replace the rack and pinion mounting bushings and the bolt sleeves. This is covered by the warranty. Had mine replaced at 2,600 miles.
