Nitto vs Bridgestone
I can’t decide between the Nitto NT555 G2 and the Bridgestone Potenza pole position S04’s tires. Anyone have any feed back?

Re: Nitto vs Bridgestone
You might look at the recently redesigned Firestone Indy 500s as well. It's one of the old Potenza molds resurrected. Heard very good things about them. Haven't heard good things about the Nittos.

Re: Nitto vs Bridgestone
I have had the G2 Nittos for at least 2+years now and have no complaints. Been happy with them. Have not put a ton of miles on them, but happy so far.

Edit- I should clarify. I only use these on the front of my car. Nitto drags on the back.

Hard to get a solid recommendation that means anything w/o info on what you're requirements are. Me I like the Conti Extreme Contact Sport for track days and driving to and from the track all while having descent longevity. I also use them on my dd because I want an Ultra HP summer tire tire that's excellent in the rain.

Re: Nitto vs Bridgestone
I've had summer performance tires now for a couple years and I really don't care for them. I don't drive in bad weather, rain or snow, but I will drive occasionally when it's nice outside throughout the winter. That is, as long as there's no salt. Anyway, what I don't like about them is how they perform 50°F and below. I knew this going in, but it is even worse than I had expected. My next set will be all season performance tires. Just something to think about depending on your driving habits and your location.

Re: Nitto vs Bridgestone
It’s a sunny sparing, summer and fall kind of car maybe 2k miles per year max. Basic bolt ones and 4.10 gears. Just looking for a street tire that won’t break loose when I stop on the gas in second gear.

Re: Nitto vs Bridgestone
try the nitto drag radials. they'll last 10k miles if you're nice to them.

Re: Nitto vs Bridgestone
I have had the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 summer tires for over 10k miles and cross country trip, and love them. They work well in dry, rain, and winter (excluding snow and ice of course). I am pretty close to stock power with some light suspension mods.
