Veyron at the local Chevy dealer
A local guy traded his Veyron in on a ZR1, it has been all over the internet. I was up there this morning getting some exhaust manifold gaskets for my header install on the vette and snapped a couple of pictures of it.

Re: Veyron at the local Chevy dealer
He is going to be sorry! Pretty soon we will hear that he has traded in his ZR1 for the 2011 Shelby GT 500.

Re: Veyron at the local Chevy dealer
This guy has had a long list of high end sports car including a Mclaren F1 and an Enzo. So I don't think he will be getting mustang lol. He got a good chunk of change to go along with the ZR1.

Re: Veyron at the local Chevy dealer
I don't get it.
Why on earth....?? If you are that well off, keep the Veyron and get the ZR1 as the DD. (or was this the Veyron that went off roading into a lake?)

Re: Veyron at the local Chevy dealer
I wonder if this particular Veyron has 'off-road' experience? Namely of the surfing type?
How do you 'trade in' a million plus dollar car in on a hundred thousand dollar car? What? They wrote him a huge check, or gave him a weeks worths of ZR1s?

Re: Veyron at the local Chevy dealer
Rumor is that its already sold to some country singer.
No this isn't the same one that took a swim. I was told they cut him a check for about 3/4 of a million.

Re: Veyron at the local Chevy dealer
yeah, dealerships typically wont take that much of a hit on a car unless they have a buyer lined up at the time of the deal. same way pawnshops make big purchases. but geez, why da hell would you do that.

Maybe the guy got tired of it sitting in the garage bc he was scared to drive it. Maybe he realized it was better to have $750,000 than a car. Its a nice car but I wouldve done the same thing. |

i would have asked for a badass chevy diesel to tow the ZR1 around. Cause I sure wouldn't drive it.

I'll bet every time he took the car out for a drive it kept heading for the water like a moth to a light.

Re: Veyron at the local Chevy dealer
I was thinking the same thing. They Rammed this guy if they only cut him a 3/4 mil. check. It's an easy $1.3 mil. car, and even if they 'only' got a cool mil for it, no way the ZR! is worth $750k.

Re: Veyron at the local Chevy dealer
I've heard of it but like you say no interest...I'd walk to work everyday before buying a chevy and that veyron is just way too ugly to have a price like that...and even if it was a Ford GT sitting at a chevy lot forsale..I still wouldn't buy it...I'm not giving GM any of my money for whatever they have forsale

Re: Veyron at the local Chevy dealer
Well the veyron is a pretty sick car. I dont think its ugly. Certainly doesnt look as good as the Ford GT, but its not ugly. Considering what the car is capable of its quite a feat of engineering. If I was rich I would buy two supercars. The veyron would be one and the Ford GT would be the other. Well make that 3......I would have two Ford GTs so one of them I could garage queen and the other I could beat on.

Re: Veyron at the local Chevy dealer
