Well I did it.

13 years ago due to (now ex-wife) issues I had to sell my much beloved Coupe.
Saturday I am picking up my new 2019 GT PP1 car.

It’s been a long road for me the past 7 years or so. The opportunity has finally presented itself so I jumped at it.

I will post pics of the Mach’s new stablemate as soon as I get a few taken.

Went with a black/black 6-speed 300A package with the PP1.

And don’t worry. The Mach is not going anywhere...

Re: Well I did it.

Glad to hear you're keeping the Mach 1, but I can't wait to hear your reviews of the new pony,

Re: Well I did it.

Getting rid of the Mach was never a consideration...
I took a work at home position and lost my fleet car so it gave me a good excuse to get another vehicle...

I will definitely give my impressions

Re: Well I did it.

Nice choice getting the manual. That rev matching downshift looks sweet. My mom is about to pick up a 19 here soon. She wants another manual but is getting pressured from her spouse to get the auto. Probably can't go wrong either way, really. Post pics when you get it!

Definitely will.
Picking up tomorrow morning.

Of course the Mach started acting up yesterday. Pretty sure it’s the IAC which I have never cleaned, or maybe it’s jealousy LOL

If the car was going to be on the drag strip I would have done the 10speed, but this is going to be a daily (share time with the Mach).

Funny how many of my friends have already started a parts list for me and the car is not even home 😉

The Rev match is really cool. You can turn it off if you want to as well. I like to go thru the gears when slowing down, even if in neutral, and it will blip the throttle in neutral as well...

I figured it would be. I don't think I'd ever turn it off. Too much of a kid that way.
Great looking stang. I'm jealous!
