There's alot of Mustang clubs around here. Pierce County Mustangs, Mustangs Northwest, Cascade Mustangs, just to name afew. I got out of all the club scene and car shows years ago, but for a new owner it may interest you. The car show guru is 24kMach (Russ) around here. He no longer owns a Mach, but he still goes to car shows around here in his 2013 YMCA Mustang 6 banger.

Krispy Kreme in Puyallup. I think it's next to the south Tacoma mall. It was a hangout spot years ago, but I'm not sure anymore. I think the imports may have taken it over, or they may have kicked everyone out. Not sure. The Mustang crowd usually was there on Friday around 6pm or so. Probably be best to check it out once sometime in the summer and see what exactly shows up there now.

yeap it seem down back in 2011, but may have changed since then, but it would be worth checking out just to see if anything is going on there. for sure when it warms up and Russ for sure will have plenty of mustang stuff going on. also Tacoma KK has a bunch of imports, but like Thunderbolt said cops may have ran everyone out.

It was a pretty cool hangout back in 2005-2007. You'd get 20-30 Mustang's on a nice summer Friday. I have'nt been back there since then.

You guys know a great dyno tuner around tacoma area? My stang is currently tune with the cal x3 but looking for a more refined tune for a few extra ponies.

I've never been there, but their's a place in Auburn where I live called The Mustang Shop (1929 West Valley Highway S, Auburn, (253) 218-0323). I've heard afew people talk about that place, and I think ASH302 has been to that place. I had my Mach tuned about 9 years ago at another shop, so I'm not sure what other places are still around.

do not use the mustang shop, the guy that ran the dyno believe called hpranch sold it to the mustang shop.
the best place I've had mine tune was Blood enterprises
please use them if you go get tuned, really nice guys there

I just had bad luck with the mustang shop and when they did build on my mach and just wouldn't use them again or send any one there, I used blood on my last tune and he was finding little things that the mustang shop screwed up on, which could have cause major problems

That's good to know. Yeah, I got mine tuned at Blood's 9 years ago, but you never know what happens with shops in that span of time. Blood's is in Auburn, too. Also, I believe their dyno is a Mustang Dyno, so the horsepower/torque ratings may be different from what you last dynoed.

yes blood is a mustang dyno, when I went at the end of 2011
John that had the hpranch sold it and went to another job he had before dynoing cars. I truly don't like the mustang shop, over the few months I've dealt with them was nothing good to say. it was as bad as leaving two bolts out of the throttle body, I was lucky for the time I had it nothing major came out and blew the motor. I was just really not happy with the mustang shop. if I was back in that spot again and knew about blood I would have let them done the whole rebuild I had the mustang shop do.
I'm sure a few has had great luck with the mustang shop, but as for me NO WAY

I'll check blood then cause I believe in word of mouth. Whenever I get my 98 cams in I'll take tothem.
Also. You guys know there a mustang 50th yr anniversary at groits garage April 5th.
I went to the last car show there last weekend and me and a buddy were the only sn95, a cobra and mach.

I went to Griot's once, but it was about 7 years ago. It was'nt for a car show or anything. Just killing time. 24kMach goes there alot. He drives a red YMCA 6 banger Mustang. I believe his plate says MCA6GUN. For me, the Mustang get together's and car shows got stale after a couple years, back when I went to them.

I called Blood's. Dyno tuning is $150 an hour, which is'nt bad because it was $130 an hour when I went there 9 years ago. It took them about 90 minutes to strap it up and tune my Mach with the Diablo tuner I've got. Did at least 6 dyno runs.

get ahold of Russ, send him a PM, he goes a lot there and I'm sure he would love to have another body going to those things.

Also I don't member how much it cost to do the dyno at bloods but when I went the tuner after it was all done was willing to go over the whole dyno sheet and numbers on everything and willing to explain it simple
