Their are shops that will chrome the snorkel, if that's what your talking about. They use to chrome the snorkels on the Mach1Performance site but they quit doing that about a year ago. I had mine done before they quit doing it. You can do it yourself, but I'm not sure what all you need to do.

Re: Powder Coated Valve covers

Mine are off to get powdercoated at this time, and should be on the car in a couple of weeks. Im getting them coated in Torch Red to match, and will have the polished Ford Racing coil covers to top them off- should be pretty sweet! I'll post pics when all complete.

I do have a question though! Has anyone done a write-up on how to get the master cylinder loose / removed. I have heard of all sorts of ways to get this done, and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction / make a DIY? I'd really appreciate it!

Re: Powder Coated Valve covers

Nobody has added pics lately so I thought I'd post up the covers I just finished. They're done in wrinkle red and silver vein. They'll be going on my modfox project

Is hydrographics the process where decal is put in a vat of releasing solution and the item is lowered into it and the decals transfers to the item?

Re: Powder Coated Valve covers

Yes...that's the process! It took some grinding and sanding to get these to look good before the process can begin, the quality of the castings is horrible!

Re: Powder Coated Valve covers

Well since my mach is an 03 and the valve covers come in black already I was just gonna leave them even though we pulled them off to fix the burnt valve. But after seeing how badass they look when they match the car, its a done deal. Ill be powder coating mine too! If anyone has pics of a TR with it done please post pics.

That's exactly the flat red color I've been looking for!! I'm doing my valve covers that way and my GT coil covers wrinkle flat black! Do you have any pictures of that in the engine bay??
