Re: Mach 1 t handle ?

Just unscrew it (counter clockwise) and thread the new T-handle on.

The CDC T-Handle just threads on. I know MGW Made a nice T-Handle and it had a setscrew after you thread it on, it locked it tight.

I have the bigger Yellow Ball from MRT with the MRT logo.

Re: Mach 1 t handle ?

I had the Classic design concepts on for about 15 minutes. I screw it on before I left my house, then down the road I bang second gear lift my hand off the shifter and the t-handle snapped in half. I know the proper way to put on a shift knob. i could see it snapping if i put it on twisted it 5 times then it broke. but it was on there good, and just snapped in 2 right in my hand.

I'm partial to the Steeda Pistol Grip. I always run a nut down to the bottom of the threads, screw the shift handle down, tighten the set screw, then run the nut up snug against the bottom of the shift handle. This keeps it solid, tight, AND, compensates for misalignment as sometimes the handle bottoms out and appears crooked...

I had the same thing happen also, I now have a Hurst T handle after going through 2 different shift balls.
