I wouldn't say the 32valve is bulletproof, mine is currently down because of the oil pump........Other than that great DD, as Mach Girl would say, you won't be disappointed either way, 5speed or auto, when you stomp on it, hang on theses cars love the rpm and yes they will **** and get!!!!!!!

Ample leg room, I'm 6'1 no problems, and welcome to the registry!!!!!!

Good luck on your search and enjoy it when you get one.

And MMMEEEEEOOOOW!

I was going to make a joke, something about the things that the the Mach attracts, but I don't want to offend this guy before he even gets the Mach!

The 93 is officially retired.

Picked this up yesterday. A long day of driving (289 miles each way) but well worth it.

Here is a picture:

What a fun car.

What does that mean? I've heard of lots of ppl modding their machs.

I too, will be in the market here in the next several months, and like stangdriver, want a good car. Has to be blue, has to be an 04 Can't wait to get out of nursing school so that I can get my mach1 Has anyone bought their mach from someone on here? And if so, how did the transaction go? I am really leary of buying off the internet, but there have not been any machs anywhere near me for sale, I live in Idaho and have only ever seen 1 blue mach driven near me.

Re: Thinking of purchasing a Mach I, couple of questions

I just bought my first Mach at the end of August and I am loving it!!! There's nothing any sweeter than pushing the traction control and killing it as I pull out of a parking lot I absolutely love the attention that the GT driver's give my Mach

are you asking about the modding portion of that post? if so it's basically the fact that many people buy these cars and then change out all sorts of things from intakes to engine/trans components as well as suspension and rear ends and such. pretty much any change from the stock car is a modification of some sort. even adding interior changes is a minor modification.

Re: Thinking of purchasing a Mach I, couple of questions

I was just wondering why someone wouldn't modify a mach 1. They're really nice cars from what I've seen.

And was also wondering if anyone has had any experiences buying a mach 1 on this site and if so, what was that experience like? I am going to be buying one when I graduate nursing school in about 6-8 months and since I live in Idaho, I have yet to see one for sale anywhere near me I am very leary of buying a car online and so was just wondering ppl's experiences with it

Re: Thinking of purchasing a Mach I, couple of questions

The main reason someone wouldn't mod a Mach 1 is because somewhere way down the road, it would be a more valuable item to a collector in it's unmodded form. Although I've been modding my Mach 1 for the past four years, I've also been putting all the stock pieces away in the garage, the basement, the attic, anyplace I can find room. LOL!
