Re: NASCAR thread

For those who still believe the chase and Jimmy Johnson are good for NASCAR, just look at the images of the stands and attendance records over the past 5 years.

No congrats here.

LOL, as well the FIA World Rally championship stage was in Spain..there is like 5 or 6 Ford's in the top 10.

Good luck to Trevor Bayne with his issues and hopefully Martin STAYS retired this time.

Re: NASCAR thread

Not good advertising for Chevrolet when the pace car, which was a brand new Chevrolet SS, starts on fire.

Re: NASCAR thread

That was a hell of a run at the end by Hamlin. He came out of nowhere. I can just imagine the Exec's at GM were crapping their pants when that Pace Car started on fire. That was hilarious to see that car smoke and burn up.

No, it was'nt that good. The Pace Car was in front and then you saw smoke coming from the back of the car, and inside the car was smoke, and then alittle fire on the back of the car. Brett Bodine was the driver and he parked it at the beginning of pit road and both the guys got out of the car.

It was so great because you had that bright gold Chevy bowtie symbol in front, and then CHEVROLET on the side rocker panel just screaming "Don't Buy This Car!" as it's smoldering in front of millions of people.

Re: NASCAR thread

Apparently, the fire in the pace car was caused by extra battery packs in the trunk for the extra strobe lights.

One dude said "Boys we are on fire, they are driving the wheels...let me stop, just to funny!!!!

Re: NASCAR thread

Start the friggin' race already. They're really reaching for stuff to talk about when they ask who would you pick in a race, Danica Patrick or Richard Petty?
