Glad you got that on Steve. Did you have to modify any of the primaries?

Re: New Project "R" thread

A little "adjustment" here and there, but for the most part, no.
Pretty much went on as is.
Modified Mach 1 "H" pipe is on.
Fired it w/ full exhaust.
Not bad, but hard to tell for a second or 2.

Re: New Project "R" thread

Just trying to get ready for when the intake arrives.
The car will be driveable at that point. (no glass though)
Make no mistake, the exhaust was not fun.

Re: New Project "R" thread

AC suction hose 100% finished, and a new accumulator installed.
Accumulator install took all of 5 minutes, even with the 5.4 motor in it.
I will evacuate the AC system later today or tomorrow.
Roy is making progress on the intake,
so still trying to get the car ready to fire when it arrives.

Re: New Project "R" thread

Started tacking it together today. This is about 200 times more involved than hot gluing a wooden proto-type together. The ends of the side panels have to be mitered so all the edges are flush. The top was refigured so the base will overhand .200 all the way around. Everything was clamped up on steel angle plates for tacking so it’s all square. Now it's time to start looking at the
TB area.

Re: New Project "R" thread

Spoke with Roy a day or so ago, and he's making good progress.
The car is basically ready for the intake,
and if I did everything correctly, it should start, run, drive and stop.
The exhaust system is on from headers to tailpipes.
I re-installed the 2000 "R" hood.
I am expecting a pass side exhaust header leak, but time will tell.
Currently a lot going on here , but trying to keep going.

I do need a few parts listed here if anyone can help me out:
(Maybe some of you who have bought wrecks or went full race have some of these laying around)

P/S return hose from gear to cooler
P/S pressure hose from pump to hydroboost
All radiator hoses & clamps except upper and cooler to thermostat (I have those)
Radiator reservoir w/cap and hose to radiator
Both tailpipe hangers w/ hardware
Plastic Evap hose inside RF fenderwell
Rubber things (?) behind each rear wheel w/hardware
Stock MAF complete

PM me if you have anything.
Thanks!

Re: New Project "R" thread

Here's a few pic's for you Birdman. It wont be long and you will be taking it for a spin. I just have to figure what to do for the throttle cable bracket and make sure everything is in the right place and weld it all up. I just have one light tac holding the throttle body snout on for a picture, it has to come back off for some other work.

Re: New Project "R" thread

The Aussie intake is for "C" heads.
Nice to see someone else tackling this.
PM me on the stuff you have.
Edit:
Good speaking with you.
The kit alleviates all of the issues you are running into.
Your car will be a monster for sure!

Re: New Project "R" thread

It's down there.
I worked a month on that single issue alone.
Maybe more.
There are repurcussions to all of it.
