Hood latch mod

I made a quick video on how easy it is to mod the hood latch on our cars so you don't have to slam the hood! Check it out

Re: Hood latch mod

Good Info
Never fixed mine that way before and I'm always looking for another way so Thank You. It drove me crazy how hard it was to close the hood on my Mach 1, you had to slam the ever living chit out of it. For that matter you had to pull the release so hard you knew it was just a matter of time before it broke.

I've been through this before with other SN95's I've owned and had problems closing the hood with. Maybe I just got lucky but a simple hood latch adjustment worked for all of mine; 96 Cobra, 99 GT, 03 Terminator, & my current 04 Mach 1. Have you have ever tried to just adjust the Hood Latch ?
