Re: HID Conversion Kits
I personally think the 8000k is gonna be too blue/purple and would go with 4300 or 6000k

Re: HID Conversion Kits
I found this funny: "8000K bulbs produce a pure white light with a very slight bluish tint "
8000 Kelvin is blue....there is no 'slight .. tint'. Heck, as DSG said, it is a tad on the purple side. 6000K is a nice 'blue-daylight' color.

Re: HID Conversion Kits
I havent seen a replacement thats listed as a direct replacement for our fogs. I have heard from many people that you can get foglight bulbs by APC for $15 or so on Ebay and that they match very well. Ive seen some of their headlight bulbs in person and they are very bright white.
my debate is 4300 vs 6000. While the 4300 is apparently very close to what BMW and some others use, its very pure white. I wonder if the 6000 might be a little easier on the night vision with a slight blue tint to it. I think Im gonna try and find some local cars with HIDs to compare. If I can get any good comparison pics Ill post em up this is a site Ive been looking at. If you look in the bottom right corner of the page theres a link to a replacement bulb guide. www.visionbulbs.com
