Cobra side skirts "Project" - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

Well made my call around and finally found a shop with a good price for getting my 04 cobra side skirts painted
cost of side skirts
$250
cost of painting em
$250
cost of new clips for side shirts
$30

So right now $530 to get cobra side skirts done, very happy
suppose to pick them up at the end of the week

so excitied about this, can't wait to see i knowthey are going to look sick

to me the total price i'm payin isn't bad and the chances of me finding em in SY and then no telling how much the person would sell em for just not worth it, chite look at LMR for brand new ones and then add my painting cost, i'm getting a **** good deal. i could see if i had white or black i might get lucky and find some already painted, but its all good

perfect timing, got the call that my side skirts are done being painted and all the side skirt clips that i order from LMR came in the mail. it was for sure a sign, lol

Well fixin go pick em up and then throw em on, so excitied, cuz i've been wanting this for so long.
i'll post pictures later

Thats pricey for clips. I just used 3 bolts and nuts with washers on each side. $3.

i ended up not really needing the clips, so kinda wasted money, its all good though just happy to have the side skirt on

Not trying to sound completely ignorant here, but whats the difference between stock skirts and Cobra skirts. I guess I just dont see the difference. Have any before and after pics.

to be honest the plasti dip has held up good. i really do want to get it painted black down the road, but for the most part i'm happy with it

lol i'm not messing with the side skirts they are painted what i wanted, lol the trunk lid is prob going stay how it is, i choosen to keep roush wing and i'm going with a steeda front splitter and hood and roof painted black, out side be done, did think of the roush stage 2 front, but i think i'm going with steeda

I had my first Mach in 2005... Lets just say cobra side mirrors have gone WAY up since then!

Yet its still with the money! In my mind.

hope this helps with anyone that is tryin to see the different from stock to cobra side skirts, its just flush with the car instead of like factory where it goes out alittle
