COP popping off the plugs
I have an 04 Mach 1 that has two COP that keep popping off of the plugs. Does anybody have any idea how i can fix this problem or should I just buy a new set of COP. It's doing it on the left bank on the first 2 cylinders and is really starting to annoy me. Anybody had this problem before and any suggestions to fix?

Re: COP popping off the plugs
They are still popping off with your coil covers installed?

Re: COP popping off the plugs
even with the coil cover on. it's like it's just not seating itself on the plug. the rest of them you feel that click when there locked on but the other two you just never feel it

Re: COP popping off the plugs
As an absolute last fix, you could always place something between the coil covers and the top of the COP. This way when you bolt the overs on, they are pressing down on the COP.
But something is not right.

Re: COP popping off the plugs
that is my plan if my next fix doesn't work. One of my boys had an 03 Cobra and he's giving me his coils he had lyin around. i think that the two coils are just worn out and won't latch onto the plugs. but if his coils don't fix it then ill wire a rubber stop on top of the gasket stop on the coil covers and see if that will keep it seated by just applying pressure to it.
