Schweeet!!!! I was just talking to a vendor about this kit. He highly recommended it. Keep us posted.

You have the soleniod arming switch and purge button on the center console? The shifter ball has the nitrous activation on the side correct?

Very nice detailed system. Bottle heater? Do you need one since the system monitors bottle pressure?

The micro switch on the shifter ball operates my line lock.

No bottle heater but, I will get one. I recomend a bottle heater which will give consistentcy to the shot.

This is where I have the nitrous purge.

Looks SWEET. Let us know your 1/4 mile times when you run it. This is the type of system I am looking for.

LOL! I'll see what I can do.

I have more pics of the nozzle installed in the air intake before the throttle body but, I can't attatch it. It keeps giving me "To large of a file". The pics are all under 75000KB and I tried to zip file than send but, still won't except. For some reason 2 out of the 9 pics I took won't attatch even though they are all under 75000KB

Looks good though!
Thanks,

ZEX recomends in their instructions for optimum spray atomization mount nozzle 8"- 16" from throttle body. Mine is 9.5" and positioned to spray directly at the center of the throttle body at that angle. For now to play it safe, I'm doing what ZEX says to do. By the book! The hit is less for now but, the cooling affect is better. Remember we have a twin bore throttle body. Locating my nozzle next to throttle body which only protrudes 1/2" into the air tube will spray mostley into one side of the bore, not giving the spray a chance to hit both bores as equall as possible. I can not mount the nozzle straight from top or bottom up, no clearance. If ZEX designed their nozzle to be positioned 8"- 16" from throttle body, than there is a reason and I'm sure it's a safety reason.

I've been eyeballin' that system!

Mach1Marauder,

It's a nice neat and easier system to install. The quality is very good. My only ***** was the mounting bottle brackets were not coated with rubber to protect the bottle from serious scratches. So, I cut strips of rubber and covered the metal bases that the bottle sits on. The bottle straps come rubber coated but not all the way so when tightening the metal straps they too would scratch top of bottle. I epoxied thin rubber strips on all exposed metal surfaces to brackets and straps.

I feel ZEX is a safer system to run on the Mach or any vehicle do to the fact it's designed to maintain proper fuel/nitrous ratio as bottle pressure changes. You do not have to worry about being to lean or to rich. A bottle heater will ensure constant bottle pressure with more optimum hit on the shot. I will be starting out with the 75 shot next week on one run and than pull all 8 plugs and read them. I'm going with NGK TR-6 which are one step colder than our factory plugs gapped at .035-.038 DO NOT run platinum plugs with nitrous, I've been told irridium plugs are OK but, I don't know this 100%. Drop down at least one step colder and make sure to close gaps or you will cause detonation for sure. ZEX's nozzle design helps prevent puddling of the fuel in the intake at slow air intake velocity speeds. This is why you do not want to inject untill your rpm's are at least 3000+. I'm setting mine to never activate under 4000 rpms (safe) this will ensure no puddling which is one of the causes of a serious nitrous backfires. The faster the air velocity to the throttle body the better before injecting.

I'm having my bottle filled today but, my nitrous filter kit did not come in mail yet. I will not charge the system untill filter is installed. Than I will perform a leak test on system and probably waste about $15 bucks worth of nitrous playing with purge system. I plan on taking some pics with the purge activated.
